Actually when you install the Barbed Wire License Plate frame part # CR22230 you basically just install it over the license plate. This isn't the type of frame that requires you to manipulate the plate into the frame.

Is this a license plate frame? When are you wanting it to light? I wouldd recommend wiring it to come on with your headlights by tapping into the license plate light circuit. The frame would light up when your headlights were turned on. If you are wanting it to light as the brakes were applied, locate one of the wires for the brake light circuit and tap into that. You can certainly replace the license plate bracket on your cargo trailer. I am guessing the license plate mounting screws are the part that is rusted. To remove them, you may want to use a drill to remove the screws or just break the heads off of the license plate screws to remove the license plate. Since you will be replacing the license plate bracket, you will not need to reuse the rusted screws or bracket.

I would recommend a license plate frame such as # CR62032. It will show more plate in all 50 states. A LED license plate light mounting bracket such as # LPL55CB could also be a great addition especially since you are towing a easy hauler.

The Westin Ultimate Bull Bar, # 33-0885, mounts to the frame on your 2000 Ford Ranger. If you have anything already attached to the frame at the front of the truck then it likely uses the same mounting locations on the frame or occupies at least some of the space required to install the Bull Bar.

You will need to use a quick splice, item # SWC502905-1, and splice the black wire from the LED Trailer License-Plate Light, item # LPL55CB, into the taillight wire on your trailer. While I appreciate your ingenuity, you cannot install the light brackets in reverse so the license plate is on the right-hand (passenger's side) when installing the tail light assemblies of the Detail K2 Mighty Multi A-Frame Utility Trailer # K2MMT5X7.

I spoke with my contact at Hopkins and they said that the adjustment on the license frame backup sensors of the Hopkins Rear View Camera with Backup Sensors, part # HM60195VA, would not be enough to cover the complete rear of the your Ford E-250 van.
Since the license plate on your Ford E-250 van is on the passengers side rear door the sensors would not adjust enough to cover the rear drivers side of the van.

I have had several vehicles that only had attachment points on the top (and 1 that only had them on the bottom for some reason). Basically, you will use the machine screws, put them through the holes in the cover and license plate that are NOT used for mounting the plate to the car. Use the included nuts to secure the screws.
